Title: Old Fashioned Scones

3cSelf-raising flour
1tsSalt
2tsSugar
2oz(60 g) Butter
1cMilk

1. Set oven at 450F. Arrange shelf in oven in the top third of the oven.

2. Sift the flour, salt, and sugar into a bowl, rub in the butter, add milk to make a soft dough. Knead lightly on floured surface, then pat into a rectangle about 3/4" thick. Cut into squares or rounds. Arrange on a lightly greased tray. Brush with milk to glaze. Bake for 12 - 15 minutes, or until well risen and golden brown.
